I am Lena Jarl Churm and I come from Karlshamn, a small town in Southern Sweden.

For most of my life I have worked as a chef, owning and operating my own restaurants in Sweden.

This is also where I met my
British husband, Brian.

We, together with our two cats,
now live in Wellington,
Telford, Shropshire.

On moving to England, I realised that I wanted to make more out of my hobby,

so I now operate my own art gallery. Creativity is the key word.

I enjoy mixing the Swedish with the British.

We currently feature a small selection of Swedish handcrafted items as well as goods produced by local British craftspeople

Painting is not all in my life. I still have a burning passion for food.

I therefore combine my art gallery with my arty tea room,

offering light snacks and refreshments with friendly table service.

Visitors may relax on sofas provided, enjoying a leisurely chat over coffee, soaking up the art exhibitions

In my spare time I turn to the canvas.

With brush in hand, I paint whatever comes to mind. With past help of teachers and the inspirational British countryside, I have developed my art.
